I have installed sdk and OpenWatch however I am confused on how to get apps onto watch. I currently have clock on watch face and a row of four icons across bottom. I am not familiar with programming but I got to this point and thinking I'm missing something obvious on how to do this. I haven't received any messages on watch and thinking I have to download the notification app onto watch? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

In order to get your inpulse working with Android, I suggest following the guide at http://www.getinPulse.com/guide/android. It sounds like you already have loaded the firmware onto your watch (that's why the time and the 4 icons are showing up). Next step would be to pair with your android phone and configure OpenWatch!
