Wait a minute!? So I need a BlackBerry in order to install the standard firmware onto the watch? Can't I somehow do it with my Android phone?

To load the standard notifications app, follow the getting started guide and run the compileandload.py command with -n parameter. That will download the latest notifications app and sent it to your watch so you can use it with Android.
