How to Send computer time to watch

Chris Nov 27, 2011 12:47AM PST

The on line help is a little thin. Can you spell out exactly I get time to appear on my watch, without writing a program!
I would have thought I could download an App to my Win7 computer and then Bluetooth link to the watch and send the time or an App.

In other words without a Blackberry or Android phone App.

The page saying to download the SDK is not a lot of help!

Hi Chris,

inPulse is designed primarily as a device meant to be in constant communication with a smartphone by Bluetooth. It is possible to send time to the watch from a computer, using the instructions meant for developers creating applications for inPulse. To do so, you will need to make sure that your computer fulfills the minimum requirements (Windows 7 32bit, broadcom-based Bluetooth adapter) and Python (www.getinpulse.com/guide/windows)

Step 1: Download the SDK from www.getinpulse.com/pulsesdk
Step 2: Determine your watch's Bluetooth address (00:50:C2:xx:xx:xx) by holding down the button on the watch for 5 seconds)
Step 3: open a terminal window and navigate to the upzipped SDK folder
Step 4: execute ' cd \tools\L2CAPServer'
Step 5: execute 'java -jar L2CAPServer.jar'
Step 6: open a new command window and navigate to pulse_sdk
Step 7: execute 'python tools\set_time.py'

Hope this helps, happy to answer any more questions [email protected]
