Trouble connecting smartphone to inPulse

If you are having trouble connecting your smartphone to your inPulse:

  • Try disconnecting or unpairing other Bluetooth devices.
  • If you have a BlackBerry OS 7 device, ensure your inPulse is running Notification App version 3.9.4 or higher, OR that the inPulse factory/recovery mode (version 0.11 or higher) is active.
    • Enter recovery mode by holding the inPulse button until you see "Loading..." on the screen.
    • If you have an older BlackBerry device, use it to install the latest Default Notification App.
  • (on a BlackBerry) Try resetting your BlackBerry by removing and reinserting the battery.
  • (on an Android device) Try to Force Close and re-open the inPulse app.
  • Try resetting your inPulse (hold down the button until it vibrates then let go).
