I am using a Verizon BB Bold 9650 running OS6.0.0.431 and BBM 5.0.2.12. I was able to send a test message for BBM to the watch and it worked. and I sometimes receive a BBM notification but not always. Is it real time? Is this a glitch that needs to be updated? Finally, should the conversation be seen on watch or just notification? Thank you.

Due to BBM API restrictions only the notification of a BBM message will appear. As for the timeliness of the notifications it should be real-time

Thank you for the info. Mine isn't real time and sometimes I don't get notification at all. Is this normal or is there something that can be done about it?

Is it just the BBM notifications that aren't coming thru right or is it all of them?

No texts have come through, and emails, did the same thing, they did then they stopped, and now when I push the button once or hold it down it just goes to the "alarm enabled......" text. No matter what icon i select.

Have you tried turning off bluetooth and turning back on? I had this happen with my android, and it helped. Sometimes if the watch and phone don't disconnect cleanly it seems to stop. Also, try holding the button in for ~15-20 seconds, and reload the notification app firmware from the BB to see if that will help.

Yes Ive tried turning bluetooth on and off. It seems to work for stuff that comes in immediately but not for a period of time. OK thanks for your help. I will try all of the above.

When you notice that notifications stop going through to the watch, you may need to reset the watch and/or Blackberry.
- Hold down the button on the watch for 6 seconds, until it vibrates once. This resets the watch
- Pull the battery on your Blackberry. When it reboots, open the inPulseBB app and send a few test messages.

Once I have done that and I still have trouble what are the next steps?
They go through for a short while after I do that then they stop. Its just not consistent.
-Phone calls always work
-sometimes emails
-sometimes BBM
-Sometimes texts

Could be dependent on the strength of Bluetooth connection and interference. Does it always work if you click 'send test message'?

Note: moving topic to Blackberry forum.

It always work with "send test text, BBM, EMail, etc). Could it have anything to do with the Filter option? ( i havent adjusted it in anyway but wasnt sure if I should). Has anyone else had this issue with BBM(not receiving every message)?

Also Is there something special that needs to be done to sync the calender events?

Do you have multiple calendars? Currently it only syncs the default calendar with the watch.

In terms of BBM, it will only alert the watch if the screen on your BB is off. This is to avoid needless BBM notifications on your watch if you are in the middle of a rapid BBM conversation...

I understand now about BBM, its been working well. Thanks.

Should Texts have a time-stamp?

Have you tried adding a calendar event right on your Blackberry (ie not through a 3rd party calendar)?

Yes I tried to add a new appt, and it notified me but anything that was on my calender previously does not show up on the watch. Is that the way that its supposed to be?
