Not sure what you mean by this - are you referring to the log that is being displayed on the phone? If so that info is only available on the phone

Like when someone sends a Page, I didn't know if it's stored on the webpage past the phone pulling it when it polls. So when you go to www.inpulsewatch.com/myaccount.asp it would show the last 5 pages sent to you. Was just thinking in case your watch battery dies, for example, I had a update sent to the watch and the battery died right as soon as I hit the button on the watch to view it.

Good point - yes I could definitely make those available.

Paging Widget has been completed (allows you to add paging to your own site) as well as a paging history. It's not available on the site yet but will be once I release the phone/text message update.

Quick update - it seems phone calls are sometimes making the app crash. I'm still trying to determine if this is related to the nasty bluetooth hack or some other issue. This is the last hurdle I have to get over prior to releasing v1.1.

I know the last couple days, my app has been crashing alot. It'll be good then will Force Close twice, then when I reopen it, the BT MAC add has changed, so don't know if that helps. It's only been doing this the past 2 days though.

I've just pushed out a new update to the site which is now available on our site. Make sure to read my blog for all updates but the main 2 additions are phone calls and text messages. To make this update work, you'll need to update your weather watch app and the inConnect Android App on your phone. Also, on request of Allerta, I've change the name of our android app from inPulse Connect to inConnect.

More info:
http://www.inpulsewatch.com/blog.asp?a= ... &blogid=14

KT - you can now use the MEID address (see Settings / About / Status on your phone) as indicated in our Version History page which should fix the issue you were experiencing with the changing BT Mac addresses.

Please make sure to post any issues you're experiencing here on this forum. Once we've got a stable release, I'll start sharing how you can create your own watch apps with inConnect.

I got the same error, but the app works fine on the watch. I think this is a clean-up action after the install that is failing, may just need to ignore the error.

I've tested this and the phone works. If you are using GoSMS Pro, you will need to re-enable the use of other SMS notifications for this to work though.

Johan,
Great work on this app. I love the new notifications, and they are for sure quick. I'll check the battery life. I was getting ~50 hours average with version 1.0. I expect to get at least the 36 hours with this update as I do get a few notifications each day.

This seems to be a bug in the compiler script. I assume there is nothing to clean up since I don't supply the source code and therefore it doesn't use their temp.zip methodology (just making this crap up right now). Either way nothing to worry about, the remove of the temp.zip file has nothing to do with our app so you're all good. The app itself will start with just a clock on top. Once you activate our android app, it will send the weather update to your watch.

My android app is still crashing. Is there anyway to send a error log?

Hmm I could understand how it would crash during a phone call since in most cases the phone wouldn't be able to connect to the web during the call but the text message one has got me boggled since there shouldn't be a busy state. If I could just find a way to make it crash during debug mode then I should be able to figure out what is causing this but I haven't had any luck doing so.

I've been testing my latest update and haven't gotten any errors for a while now. I hardly get any phone calls on my cell so I'm probably not the best tester for this but I'm sure by the end of this week we'll know if this release is stable.

Ok been getting alot of FC lately. It seems like if it can't get a good internet connection it crashes

My watch decided to quit talking to my phone since last week. I'm not sure what's going on but this obviously stopped me from doing any further testing and updates. I tried unpairing and re-pairing the watch with my phone but without any result. LOL - this is definitely the most challenging watch I've had so far. Not sure where to go from here to be honest...

@Johan, have you tried reverting to factory firmware mode (click-hold for 16 seconds until 'loading...' comes up)? It should be recoverable if you can get back to that mode...

Alright so in the end it seems that I was an android related bug - yes feel free to call me names :)

Heh not going to happen. I've had my fair share of funny watch situations. My favourite was when I was out at dinner with my dad, I noticed this weird fogging inside the lens. I thought that something terrible might have happened, like the insides were melting or something! Turns out he just had taken a shower with it on. He didn't even realize it until I told him because it was still working just like normal!

Been having issues with Sprint networks here, so the program FC's alot and then today, I couldn't get it to connect to the watch because it couldn't find a netowrk connection.

Is there anyway to have it still connect to the watch and send phone messages, even if it can't connect to the internet? I like the ping option, and really like the weather, but would love to have the option on the phone to connect to the account page.

I'm no longer able to charge my watch since the usb snapped off the board. I'll see if I can post the latest version I have on my site but I'm no longer planning on developing for this watch due to all the hardware issues I've experienced. It's still an awesome watch and hopefully Allerta will eventually come out with an updated watch that contains more memory and is a bit more solid.

@Johan, sorry to hear that. As you know we try to go above and behind to support inPulse, so we would be happy to replace your watch again, or provide a refund. Again, sorry to hear it!

Man sorry to hear this. Would you possibly think about posting the source code, minus any server connection related protection code, to allow someone to continue this project? I would love to learn from this, and maybe customize for my use?
