Hi all! I'm curious how the progress is coming with the Inpulse's battery life on Android phones. I have a Droid X with OS 2.3.3 (now Verizon official build) and am interested in getting an Inpulse for it. I currently have a Live View. And although it does mostly what I want, the connection is very unstable, the device is cheaply made, and each software release is making it run worse. I'm hoping for the Inpulse to have similar functionality, but need the battery to make it through at least one whole day. As for functionality, the Live View previews SMS messages, previews emails, has caller id and phone mute functions, shows me calendar appointments, and serves as a music controller for my phone s music player. Can the Inpulse do these functions in its current form? If not, can you tell me what functions it is not capable of, and if there is intention to include them in future OS updates? I'm certainly ok with charging it nightly since I do that with my phone already. Thank you in advance for any input. -Ben

Right now we're working on a 1st party Android app for inPulse. It will be launched simultaneously with a new release of the watch firmware.
As per the list of features: previews SMS messages, Yes previews emails, Yes has caller id and Yes phone mute functions, Not at the moment shows me calendar appointments, Yes and serves as a music controller Not at the moment
Thanks for the interest!
Eric

Thank you Eric. Is there a projected time line for this? Do you need any beta testers?

When do you expect the 1st party app and firmware to be available. The last. mention seems to be from. February.
Also what is the return policy of the watch is not compatible with my phone.
I'd really like to buy but there seems to be too many ifs at the moment.

Hi Craig, our warranty is listed at www.getinPulse.com/warranty, and if the watch doesn't work with your phone we would obviously provide you with a refund.
