I adapted the star field screen saver demo into today's watch. I thought it would be fast to do, but the development took quite a few more hours than anticipated (and I went down some dead ends on the motion of the text, initially trying to make it spiral out like the stars). I'm still not happy with the font scaling: it is too jumpy (as you can see the video). Perhaps I'll make a vector font for another watch this weekend.
