Need some help. I was trying to get simple bluetooth demos to work. I loaded the bluetooth_send_receive_demo on the phone and just used send_test_msg.py to send a simple hello world message. I get the watch to say connected, but then it just says disconnected without printing the message. It is like the ACTION_HANDLE_NON_PULSE_PROTOCOL_BLUETOOTH_DATA callback isn't happening.

Thoughts?

Have you tried another bluetooth demo, like the PPT or iTunes controller? They are more recent than the basic bluetooth demo. Another one to checkout would be the notifications example.

I'm having trouble with this as well. It never displays the message I send. It either buzzes for a moment then a really long buzz, like 10 seconds, or sometimes it blurts out the "bt connected/disconnected" message with some garbled graphics buzzes very quickly. Looking at the code, I notice that the comments claims the code should send a response but the send_bluetooth_response() function is never even called.

Ok... more details about my problem.

I was able to install the Ping Stat app by using the .bin supplied in the sdk but the watch doesn't seem to receive or process messages from the python ping stat program.

*However*, if I compile the Ping Stat app and install it, it displays correctly the first time but when I send a message to it, it also buzzes for about 10 seconds before blanking the screen just like the simple bluetooth example.

If I use the original notification firmware, the watch appears to operate normally.

Hrm, weird, the long buzz seems to be caused by setting the time. Sorry for the spam, but I'm gradually figuring this out ;)

No problem. What's your current status? Are you able to receive messages with the ping stat example?
