Hi Inpulse Team:
I was just wondering when we can expect support for pairing our watches with Windows 7 64-bit?
Thanks,
JLo

We figured out a plan to get that support, but it's going to take quite a bit of firmware hacking on our part. For the technical minded, we're going to transition away from Bluetooth L2cap and aim at RFCOMM. This should allow us to work with 64bit for sure.

I know next to nothing about Bluetooth protocols, but a quick glance has folks describing RFCOMM as a higher level protocol that sits on top of, is bound to, L2CAP.
Is this something that only address 64bit Win7 (weird that it doesn't work), or does it somehow also broaden the compatibililty list with regards to Android?
Thanks,

With going to RFCOMM, all android phones should start to work, since they al have RFCOMM, just not all have L2CAP.
Also, the only way for a computer to use L2CAP is if the bluetooth manufacture has built windows drivers that support L2CAP. So going to RFCOMM should also make any computer work, since my netbooks doesn't work with Windows, but does with Linux (Linux has built in L2CAP support).
