I'm using my cute inPulse with BlackBerry Bold 9700, but batter wouldn't last longer than expected. I thought it will last 24 hours +, but it lasted 5 hours, 6 hours and 6 hours for last 3 days. Is this defective battery or normal battery?

If it's defective one, I'll replace it..

Hi FH, we've seen a small number of BB user experience this type of poor battery life. It's super tough for us to nail down, because we've never been able to replicate this behaviour in the lab (for example we've had people return watches and then we'd test them and see full battery life). Do you know which version of the OS you're using on your BB?

I'm using OS 6.0.0.534 on my Bold 9700.
If you've tested under OS 5, I'll downgrade my OS and try it.

The battery is soldered onto the PCB board. I don't think that a larger battery would fit.

I received my inpulse 2 weeks ago and if I use the clock during sleep mode I nly get about 6 hours of battery life. I use the default sleep clock I get 20+- hours.

I like to use it as a watch I can read instead of a blank face just to save battery life.

I am using a Blackberry Storm 9530 with OS 4.7.0.148

With the full screen clock, battery will only last for ~6-9 hours. That's why we added the smaller always-on clock font. Unfortunately, that's a limitation with this screen. Sorry about that!
